As y’all know, it’s festival season and it’s been beauteous to see Tunited artists performing on festival stages. Motion Picture Soundtrack played the BBC Introducing stage at Reading and Leeds last weekend, our Featured Artist Man Without Country played BBC Introducing stage too at Glastonbury and The Shadow Orchestra played at Greenbelt festival last weekend as well. Then there’s all the signed artists who are on Tunited and have played the festival rounds like These New Puritans, Seasick Steve, Paul Weller, Faithless, Groove Armada, Feeder, New Yong Pony Club, Rolo Tomassi, Local Natives, We Are Scientists and the rest. Remember to check the Events page for listings or make yourself a festival 2010 playlist.
Chart-wise, it’s been an ‘interesting’ week *cough, splut*. As previously reported, we want Tunited to be a place where good independent music rises to the top in an organic way. But there are some acts that seem to think that streaming their own music numerous times in order to promote themselves is a good thing. It's not, really. We call it click spamming and have therefore launched CSI Tunited. You have been warned!
