LAXX Remix, Live recordings & Single / Album update...

Hi everyone!

We hope 2010 is treating you all well so far :)

You may have noticed a fair bit of activity online in the last few weeks so we thought we’d bring you up to date...

Firstly we would like to say a huge thank you to Jacob Rickard of BBC Kent Introducing for his continued support with our latest single ‘Glass Figures’, which is due for release on 22nd February 2010. If you’ve missed any of the shows please listen back @ www.bbc.co.uk/kent/introducing as there are some amazing bands / artists being played each week with some very dedicated people behind the scenes making it all possible so tune in at 8pm every Sunday!

Along with the forthcoming single release there’s also a new remix of ‘Glass Figures’ on our MySpace page @ www.myspace.com/mps mixed & mastered by up and coming Dubstep & Experimental producer ‘LAXX’. It’s great to hear our music in a different light so please take the time to check it out... we love it! :D

We’re also in the process of recording a video for the single which we’re VERY excited about so please keep checking back for further announcements within the next month in the lead up to our debut album on March 1st 2010...

There’s also some new videos uploaded onto our channel @ www.youtube.com/user/MotionPictureTV , most notably the live recordings @ The Monto Water Rats in Kings Cross courtesy of the genius’s that are Grim Berge (visual) & Josh Austin (audio). Thank you to both of them for the long hours of hard graft that they’ve put into these set of recordings, to see the end results please check out MotionPictureTV!

And finally we would like to leave you with the news that we now have a final release date for our debut album ‘The Shapes We Fear Are of Our Own’ so make sure you add 1st March 2010 to your diaries! Hopefully you’ll start to see a lot more info on the album in both your local & national press in the coming weeks & we’re pleased to announce that as of the end of this month you’ll be able to keep up to date via our new website @ www.motionpicturesoundtrack.com ! More details will follow shortly... ;)
